edgeVelocity Labs (“edgeVelocity Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
If you use the contact form on our Contact page, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit. We use this only to respond to your inquiry. Submissions are sent by email to our team and are not stored in a database on this site.
Email newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. With it we keep a record of your consent: the wording of the consent statement you agreed to, the page you signed up on, and the date and time. We use your email address only to send you the emails you asked for, about AI and project management. If you sign up for a free template, we also email you its download link. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Our newsletter is managed by Brevo, an email service provider based in France, which stores subscriber details on our behalf. Brevo’s handling of that data is described in Brevo’s privacy policy.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically logs standard technical information for every visit — such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you request — for security and to keep the site running reliably.
We also use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site — for example, which pages are viewed and how visitors arrived here. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information in aggregate and anonymized form. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We also use the Pinterest Tag, which tells us when visitors arrive from Pinterest and which pages they view, so we can see which of our pins are useful. Pinterest processes this data under its own privacy policy and cookie policy.
We also use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. When you visit after seeing one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, it tells us which pages you viewed and whether you signed up for our newsletter, so we can measure and improve those ads. We do not send Meta your email address. Meta may connect this information with your Facebook or Instagram account and processes it under its own privacy policy. You can control how Meta uses it for ads in your Facebook ad preferences.
What we don’t collect
This site does not have user accounts and does not accept comments. We do not process or store payment information. If you purchase the Advanced Project Planner or any other digital product, that transaction is processed entirely by our payment provider, Payhip, under Payhip’s own privacy policy — we never see or handle your payment card details.
Cookies
This site uses a limited set of cookies: technical cookies set by our hosting or security infrastructure to keep the site functioning and secure, analytics cookies set by Google Analytics, and advertising-measurement cookies set by the Pinterest Tag and the Meta Pixel, all as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit through the contact form only to respond to you, your newsletter email address only to send you the newsletter, aggregated analytics data to improve the site, and advertising-measurement data from the Pinterest Tag and the Meta Pixel to measure and improve our ads. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Third-Party Links & Services
Our site links out to third-party services — including Payhip for product purchases, Brevo for our newsletter, Google Analytics for site analytics, the Pinterest Tag and the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement, and LinkedIn or other platforms for social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their policies directly.
Some AI Tech Labs guides include official product videos from the manufacturer, hosted on YouTube. Each video shows only a thumbnail image until you choose to play it. When you press play, the video loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube may then set cookies or collect data under Google’s privacy policy.
Data Retention
Contact form messages exist only as emails delivered to our team’s inbox and are retained only as long as needed to address your inquiry, consistent with our normal email retention practices. We do not maintain a separate database of contact form submissions. Newsletter subscriber details and consent records are kept while you are subscribed; after you unsubscribe, we keep only what is needed to respect your choice and show that you had consented. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.
Your Rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, by reaching out through our Contact page. We’ll respond as promptly as we can.
Children’s Privacy
This site is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our site or practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
